Chaos Trivia now has a new look and some new tricks which are posted to it’s page.
Also it now supports multiple devices for users.
Just keep in mind that your user name is only used for the Leader Board, you can change you user name as often as you like but each time that you do it will reset the score for that user name to zero. One thing you can do is swap back and forth on usernames. I put this ability in for people who share devices such as family or best friends, coworkers or just whatever. This way if “Johnny” has a score 15 and his sibling/life partner/whatever wants to play on “Johnny’s” device then they can make their own user name – lets says “Suzzie” just for example. “Suzzie” get’s a score of 33 and when “Johnny” gets the device back all they have to do is changed their user name Back to “Johnny” and they can continue from the 15 points they had already acquired. “Johnny” and “Suzzie” can change back and forth as often as they want without interrupting each other’s gameplay. They only important this is to make sure you spell the user name correctly.
Should a group of people on lets say 5 different devices all want to log in as the same user name such as “TriviaMasters” – they can do this. Here is how this would work:(We start with this team: Bob, Jim, Lisa, Sarah, Tracy who all use the user name “TriviaMasters” Bob starts off and he scores 34 points. Before Jim can add to that score they must first match Bob’s score of 34 – any point higher gets saved as the high score. Lisa only scores 25 before they incorrectly answer and has to start all over – this does not add to the score. The Leaderboard will still only show TriviaMasters[Difficulty] 34. Sarah also does not go over Bob’s score. Tracy is a genius and makes a score 56 on their first time through – now the Leaderboard shows TriviaMasters[Difficulty] 56. To top this score, each member who is trying to increase the team’s score must have a minimum score of 56 now. Just because there are 5 people playing as a team under the same username does not guarantee them a spot on the Leaderboard as only the highest score is kept out of all 5 of them and a single person, or possible a better team, could easily topple their score.
