Grinder News network was a number of stories I would write using my World of Warcraft character as a reference, and how mindset when dealing with real world events. I hope you enjoy the stories, as they were from times past, and I just wanted to include them as some background for what I myself went through over the years, But reacting to them as my character would. It is what we like to call, Roll Playing….. for those who are unfamiliar with the term.
Prior to me returning home, we were on the west coast, visiting me Pops, and former employer, who asked me for help on a project… Also while there I visited the place by Diz knee, and spend the day exploring Gal’s hackseed hedge. I went to this workshop and for this glowing stick thing, that could be really good for cooking meat from the inside. hopefully before it cuts all the way through it…. it came in a few colors… and some short green goblin looking thing said something like, may your horse be with you…. I told him normally when traveling, it usually is… I was able to go on this thing call a “rhide” it had just opened up, and only allowing so many people each day…. my ticket number came up and I was able to make it through the Rhide. I think it was called Rhide of the Assistants? well, at first it felt like I was put in Jail by some orcs, Then I was assisted by some gnomes that fiddled with the mechanical driver of these carts. one of the guys who jailed me had a glowy stick like I picked up,,, he even cut through the metal of the floor he was standing on… that got me to thinking, I could use that glowy stick for forging weapons too…. SO many practical uses…. well after being chase throughout the prison they put me in, we made it out, it felt like they hurled me through a cannon, to some weird soft landing…. I have never landed so softly after being hurled normally…. Save for the times I have landed on grinder after getting thrown out of the pub for the night…
Well after eating and drink all day… I’m not even sure what I was eating half the time… It smelled ok… but some of it sound like it was for rabbits than actual people… someone said it was Stealthy for you? Well that may be… but I would actually like to know I ate…. not wonder after eating it….
Well I finally got home after the project I was able to work on while out there, my boss gave my the month to do it. got home, went to work for a week, then was told to go home…. and stay home…. I was wondering why, thinking I messed something up. But he sent a message saying everyone had to go home and stay there until told to return tot work. So here I am sitting here, waiting for the all clear, I guess…. Dam those priests are taking forever to dispel this curse. But apparently some young bucks were complaining about missing breaking their spring…. and other places did not follow directions… so it is causing this to take longer now.
Today we bring you to the military town of KILL-EAN in the Tex-ass region of the country. where there the kingdom has a barracks that still operates at full capacity. But the town around the barracks seems to have been stuck in a time where it seems like it is almost abandoned at time. Even more so with the curse currently taking affect. it is an enemy that the soldiers can do very little to combat, save for the medics and priests.

Where lives our hunter, and his menagerie or pets, whom he thinks more as friends or family. the occasional tear running down his cheek as he knows he misses his extended family, as he would have to travel more than allowed at times. It has not gotten to the point where we must stay home at all times… but there is little for this hunter to do, as most of the areas he would hunt, or pubs he would frequent are not available for refuge.

He must now pick up and food, or refreshment for his pony kegs and bring them home. Lucky for grinder, this has kept the rhino clean for the past few weeks. as the dwarf does not like drinking alone much.
[5:24 PM]
the only adventures he is allowed to take for now are those through the porthole of others, as he observes their adventures and listen to their stories. He find himself looking for way to entertain his sober mind, keen on finding that one thing that will keep him busy for a while.
[5:28 PM]
Maybe he will make use of a few old recipes for some sauce he uses when he grills meats, or makes his sweat baked beans. Maybe he will continue on his culinary quests, baking cookies, and sweets. only to bring them to the pubs and places he cannot stay for extended periods of time, for those who are still making food for others who order their TAK-out. Whatever that is…

He had the local junker come by to help him clear out his workshop, so he may actually have room to come up with thing to work on. Giving him access to much of his stored items that he requires for make things on his list.
My original Intro for my Character, and his manjeri..
Across the Sands of time, the footprints hidden in the snowcapped mountains near Iron Forge, there lives a dwarf. As common as dwarves are in this region, their exploits often number fewer than their population. But in the case of the one known as Flintheart, few have ever seen his like. Those among the Nightcrew guild know him as the master of beasts, great and small. Many hunters have been known to tame animal and have them as companions who fight by their side in battles. But their choice in companions often differ on account of their fighting style. In the case of Flintheart, it wasn’t a matter of fighting style as it was the personality of his beasts, that defined this hunter and his hunting party. First and foremost, we start with Grinder. This 800 Lbs hairy beast of a Rhino, was tamed by Flint during his journeys in Northrend. Barren land for the most part, with a few oasis’ that managed to grab hold within the region. This rhino has been known to not only be bull headed at times, but has also been known to head off into battle before anyone else knew what was happening. you would think it would be hard to lose such a huge beast at a moment’s notice, but this rhino could be off in a second if he decided to wander. In many cases he would bring “friends” back with him when called back. Of which the rest of the group would have to defend themselves from. Usually Grinder helps clean up the messes he make with aggravating such fights, but he is unapologetic about starting them.
The other beasts who have clung to Flintheart include a pair of twin spirit beasts, also from the reaches of Northrend. While down in the basin, he was stalked by the first of these beasts, through the jungle, barely giving away it’s presents. After a freak tumble down a hill, the dwarf and this beast landed eye to eye. Neither one budging from this staring contests, flint caught sight of a second beast approaching. Dropping a trap for the second beast, he noticed the beast being chased by the local primitive inhabitance of the basin. The beast looking a bit ragged from the chase, Flint decided to pick up his trap and send it flying between the beast and her pursuers. Catching the natives off guard, in a puff of frost, flint grabbed both beasts and ran for cover. Hold each on under each arm, he kept the beasts quiet, long enough to less the hunting party pass without catching wind of their presence. These two Spirit Cats, then came to be known as Flint’s Imagination, and Hallucination. While hunting on the outskirts of Negrand, in the outlands. Flintheart was traveling a little too close to the twisting nether. Finding himself to be a little lost, he landed on a remote floating rock, that had these oddly colored Plainstriders on it. These large birds looked to be odd in color, but good tempered, that is until they were challenged. After seeing a sparring match between two of the beasts, he noticed they each were taking a punishing, without giving an inch. Even grind walked up to one and “played” with it for a while, the bird happy to beat the snot out of him. Not the grinder could tell, as stubborn as he can be. In a sense, Grinder recruited Bluebell to the team, if nothing else as a plaything. But bluebell has happily stepped up to beat the snot out of whatever has crossed Flinthearts path, as stubborn and sometimes mentally aloof as Grinder. Just listen for the loud screech of Bluebell to know trouble is coming your way.
Returning to the Mainland of Azeroth, we come to the beast born of the demon realms. Having stepped through the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands, this former slave of the demons roamed the wastes, looking for it home, finding no refuge from the torrents that occasionally plagued the realm. Originally not wanting to piss this thing off, Flintheart dropped some bait for the beast, to find a way around it, without having to confront it. Unsure of what really happened after words, Flint did what he thought was a good job of sneaking around the beast in order to avoid it’s wrath. Little did Flint know that this particular beast had a great sense of smell, (or flint didn’t do a good job of cleaning up after the last pony keg binge) But after eating the bait, this fire hound decided to find what might be the source of his new food. While fighting off a pack of fel-beasts the hunter was joined by this beast of fire and flesh. Noticing the beast not attacking him, the hunter focused on those who were. After besting the last of the beasts, he noticed his cape was singed with a small trace of fire still burning the outskirt of what was left of his cap. Finally noticing the beast standing behind him, sitting there as if waiting for his treat, Flint decided to feed the beast once more, and call him Sludge. (mainly due to the heat of its breath, and the flaming pools that occasionally seeped from the creatures backside.
