This was what I wanted to do all along. However this is a Pro them by Themeansar so it took a bit before it could be purchased. There are advantages to coding ones own theme for WordPress but then again there are some advantages of being able to buy a Pro Theme – the first Advantage is that you are supporting someone who took their time to build the theme files. The second advantage is that it saves tons of time and allows people to get to work on what they intended to become.
This is the first of many changes coming your way.
Now that we have the theme I want in, we can begin adding more and more features not only to the website but to our games.
We will be adding new games soon as well as getting them on iOS within the next 30 days or so.
Some of the games I will be making Linux Versions. I use an Arch Linux Distro called Garuda but the compiles should work on any version of Linux.
I will also be making some of the games for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh OS (or whatever Apple is calling their desktops and laptops now)
Most of the PC and Laptop version we will try to get on steam – Please keep in mind that we will have to charge for them as normal Ad Networks such as AdMob do not work on PC & Laptops. Note: I am using PC here to represent Personal Computer and not an Operating System such as Windows or Linux.
The price of the game will depend on the work that has been done. Most won’t be over$10.00. On mobile devices because we can very much run ad networks they will be free, hopefully we will make money off the ads.
Free Games are Not Free to make. Too many people get comfortable when someone does make a game 100% free with no ads but usually these games are made by hobbyist who have good paying jobs and therefore can afford to release a game in that manner, as a company we can not afford such luxury even though we really want to do so with the greatest of intent. We have bills to pay. Not only must we consider the cost of the machines, electricity and time of the developer but we also have the federal taxes every 3 months, license fee, corporation fees, Play Store fees, Webhost, website, etc…
We will do our very best to keep our cost down so we can bring the games to you without having to charge more than what they are worth but at the end of the day we still have to make a living.
Hopefully with the website change it be the harbinger of more changes to come.
